Celebrate events and memories through unique customized quilts in Texas from A Heap Of Love, LLC. We specialize in quilt making and custom sewing using recycled fabrics and old or keepsake clothing. You can also choose to incorporate T-shirts with logos and graphics that depict your hobbies and interests into your quilts to make them more personal and meaningful. If you do not have any specific design in mind, you can select among our premade cotton quilts.
Preserving Memories
Our custom quilts are perfect as family heirlooms that can be handed down from one generation to the next. If you’ve been saving shirts from the past for sentimental reasons, you can send them to us so we can create a special quilt. We can also use baby shirts and blankets in our quilts to commemorate your children’s milestones.
Mix and Match
You can mix and match graphics for your custom quilt. We can use old or new, single, or multiple, and whole or partial shirts. For our previous designs, we have used logos from baseball caps and logos for football, basketball, and track. The amount of fabric you provide has a bearing on the quilt size. If your shirts are not enough for your preferred size, we can add fabrics to make up for the difference. Call us today so we can get started.
Our Custom Quilt Process
Once you inquire about our custom quilt, we will start working to turn your vision into reality. Together, we will identify the size of your quilt and items you want to incorporate into it. We will provide you with all the details you need to send us your shirts. Remember that they must be clean and not cut up. You will also identify the part of the shirt you want us to use, and we will cut out the logos or graphics we will work with. Additionally, you need to inform us whether you want the unused portions returned or discarded.
Please note that a $100 down payment is required before our work commences. You will also pay the shipping fee both ways.
