A Heap Of Love, LLC owner, Claudette Warren, has decades of sewing experience and has been selling her creations for over 20 years. She puts her heart into her art and does her best to provide her customers’ requested services. Claudette also treats memorable items with special care.
A while back, plumbing and car repair were not considered trades for girls. Thus, home economics became Claudette’s favorite class.
How A Heap of Love, LLC Started
When Claudette was young, she had a French teacher who showed a keen interest in her well-being. This teacher was kind and wanted to keep Claudette out of trouble. Eventually, a relationship developed between their families. When Claudette’s house burned down, she went to live with her French teacher’s mother.
Claudette learned a lot from “Mama Know,” who spoke to her about love, kindness, and doing things for the right reasons. Often speaking in riddles, Mama Know used to present lessons that required more thinking than one could imagine to illustrate her point. Her caring manner and full heart always reminded Claudette, “In this home is a heap of love.” She has never forgotten those words and decided to use them to name her quilting business.
Recycling and Creating Quality Products
A Heap Of Love, LLC’s custom quilts do more than just preserve memories. They also keep used shirts and other fabrics from being discarded in the trash and ending up in a landfill.
Using many fabrics for quilting, Claudette is determined to deliver superior products. A perfectionist when it comes to production, she doesn’t make a quilt she wouldn’t buy herself. Quilts from A Heap Of Love, LLC are high-quality and can be used every day.
